10 TOP PLUMBING TIPS>>>>>>>>>

1 : Make sure you and all family know where the stopcock is located.

2 : Insulate all pipes and storage tanks.

3 : Check any metal water tanks for signs of corrosion.

4 : All plumbing & central heating should be regularly serviced.

5 : Leave central heating on low if leaving property in winter.( Drain down system if leaving for a long time. )

6 : Check that taps and overflows are not dripping.

..... And if you have an emergency

7 : Turn off stopcock immediately.

8 : Turn off any water heaters, boilers & isolate electrics.

9 : Do NOT try to thaw out pipes with a naked flame.

10 : If you smell GAS turn off at meter, open door and windows. DO NOT USE ANY ELECTRIC OR NAKED FLAMES
